Why did I get one label back?
Only PDF · all labels returns more than one. PDF, SVG and PNG each render a single label — the first one in your ZPL. So a three-label paste converted as PDF gives you label 1, not all three.
Search sections across the site.
Edit the ZPL, pick a format, hit Convert.
Needs an API key — the paid tier takes one step.
The playground converts what you paste. Designer is where you build the label itself.

No. This playground renders locally with WebAssembly. API keys are only needed when you call the hosted conversion API directly.
Only PNG has one. PDF and SVG are vector — they carry no pixel grid, and the API refuses ?dpi= on them outright. 203 DPI is the Zebra printer default; 600 DPI is roughly 8× the bytes.
The engine renders the thirty commands real label files use. Anything outside that set returns 422 naming the command, the label it sat on and its byte offset, so you can find the one line at fault. Labels must be complete, uppercase ^XA … ^XZ frames.
Guests and Free accounts convert up to 30 labels and 512 KiB per request — the counter under the editor shows both as you type, and turns red before you spend a request that would be refused. Paid plans lift the ceiling.
No. Playground renders happen in this browser and do not call the hosted API. Direct API calls still count labels against your plan.
No. The editor's contents stay in this tab while the local renderer converts them. Direct API calls you make outside the playground still send ZPL to the conversion endpoint.
No — the playground converts ZPL you already have. Designer is the other half: drag text, barcodes and boxes onto a canvas and it writes the ZPL for you, which you can paste back here or send straight to the API.
